Alright people. We have been trying to get this reunion off the ground for a whole year already! It takes money to reserve DJ's and venues, something we do not have, and we won't have unless people send in their checks for tickets. There are many of you who are saying you will be attending, however, I have yet to see your checks. If you don't send in your money there will not be a reunion!! As much as I have been trying to put this off I am forced to give you an ultimatum. IF I do not receive 10 ticket purchasers by the 31st of this month then I am going to give up on the reunion effort entirely. As it stands, I signed a contract with the hotel in Fresno (which was cancelled) in order to put on the reunion there, but because people dragged their feet, I am now stuck with a $900 bill from the Sheraton (thanks). I refuse to have that happen to me again, so, if you want to have and attend a reunion, put your money where your mouth is and send it in. Again, 10 ticket purchasers by the 31st or else no reunion PERIOD (unless somebody else would like to head it up)! I hate to be the bad-guy, but I have put way more time and effort into this than need-be and I'm getting tired of it. I don't care if you think I am being irrational or not, however, put yourself in my shoes...try to pull something off for a year, with almost nil in response and see how sweet you want to be in the end. By the way, thank you to those of you who HAVE sent your checks in, your follow through is appreciated and it is for you that I have been busting my tail to pull this off. I will be in contact with you in regard to your purchase.

Please be sure to note PHS class of 96 reunion in the memo portion, and if you have gotten married, Ladies, please include your maiden name.

Keep in mind that attendance is key to making the reunion a fun and successful event. Let everyone you can think of know about the new ticket prices and date change, and encourage them to register with the blog (if they have not done so already) at http://phsclassof96.blogspot.com/ . The more "publicity" we get, the better our chance we have of a great turn out. Out of a graduating class of over 300, we should be able to pull enough of us together to have a great time.

We would also like to see if we can get anybody to offer up some fun things we can do at the reunion. We don't necessarily need anybody to volunteer to do it (although I'm not going to turn away any help ), but at least some ideas of things you would enjoy looking at or taking part in.

I'm sorry to say that the mail has come and gone today, and I have only received one check. I am cancelling the reservations with RICC and AMS Entertainment for Oct.14. Again, I will be in contact with those of you who have paid in regard to any funds you may get back.
